MPN Offers a Forum to Meet and Exchange Ideas, Develop Friendships, and Share Common Interests.
MPN Meet & Greet is held every Friday evening at the Chateau Saint John on   Rockland Road (Somerset St Exit off McKay Hwy , toward Hospital, on RHS) from 5:30pm to 7:15pm.
 
I am enjoying the skiing at Sunday River in Maine and thinking of all of you – so, if I missed something, my apologies!
    
Dinner Reservations at the Mediterranean for 7:30pm this Friday night – make sure you put your name on the list when you sign in on Friday!

How about a nice warm, sandy escape--- CUBA !!!  Rudy Hooper is gathering info re CUBA RESORTS, and if enough people are interested in travelling to Varadero for a winter vacation around the middle to end of February 2012 for one week to ten days---depends on the deal we can get, as more people...more discount---this dream will turn into reality! Other vacation options will also be discussed.

HYDRO CHALLENGE (Tues & Thurs @ 9:00am & 5:15pm, 45 min): A deep water workout using water resistance to work your muscles with ZERO impact on the joints! Women's/Girl's Self Defense Workshop
Learn practical self-defense techniques you can use in almost any situation.  Practice the essential techniques with Master Dave Murray, 8th Dan Black and owner of the Maritime Martial Arts Academy in Fredericton  for over 20 years.  Teachings include: how and when to use breakaways, pressure points, strike areas & low kicks.  Find out how to react to and defend against being pinned down, against the wall, locks, and various attacks including gun, knife, baseball bat, short/long stick and chains.  Lessons include safety tips on travelling, when in cars & trucks, bars, schools and homes.  This 3-hour workshop will apply to mothers and daughters (12 years & up), professionals (Doctors, Lawyers, Police, Security, Nurses, Real Estate, cleaning services) and anyone else who works with the public and could be at risk of harassment, assault, abuse, and bullying.
 
Cost: $40/person; $70 for Mother-daughter pair.  Free Kubaton (keychain defender: regular $10), for the first 10 people to sign up.
