It is really hard to believe that it is September 1st. What an unusual beginning to the month with record high temperatures, and yet you also see the leaves turning color and pumpkins in front of grocery stores.
There is some information for you below on an MPN spring vacation and a Farewell dance in November.
Thank you to all of you who open your homes, swimming pools and your special times and share them with all of our members. If anyone has an activity they would like to share with other MPNers , please send a note to the yahoo account and it can be put in the newsletter. You are also encouraged to post events on the message board on our website. I am afraid we can't put fund raisers in the newsletter (unless they are associated to an MPN event) because there are just far too many .

For our Donnie and the Monarchs fans, the band's last dance is going to be held at the Trade and Convention Centre in Saint John, Saturday, November 6th, 9-1. Tickets are $25 for a single and can be purchased at the Imperial Theatre or 1-800-323-7469.
Noella has advised she has arranged for a block of rooms at the Delta Saint John for the MPN Group under the name MPN Fredericton and the rooms will be held until October 8th. Rates : $99 Single/ Double, $109 triple, $129 quad
September 25th – Harvest Party at Oakland Farm – keep your calendars open…more information to come.

MPN Trip 2011
Hi Everyone,
Are you interested in a group trip with other MPNers? This year we are planning to go to Portugal. I am just starting to make the inquiries with the travel agency so I don't have prices and details just yet.
The details that I do know are.........we are going for two weeks, probably late April, early May??
we are renting apartments or condos so that we have kitchen facilities available to us,
we are staying in the south of Portugal (Algarve area) probably in or near Albufeira
and we are trying to get the best price possible.

When it comes time to book we will need a deposit. So don't hesitate if you want to come along. You will have a certain period of time to decide and then after that, if you don't book in time, all you'll be able to do is look at the pictures when we get home and drool :-) So don't miss out.
